What powers the 2022 Edge?

All versions of the Edge outside of the ST trim are powered by the spectacular turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that pumps out an effective 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The ST trim takes things up a notch with the high-powered 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 that delivers an incredible 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque which gets a seven-speed automatic transmission. What features can I expect with the Edge?

There are five available trim levels for the Edge, and no matter which one you go with, you will be getting a vehicle filled to the brim with features. The base-level trim is known as the SE, and it is incredibly well equipped with 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, push-button start, and a 12-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you want a little sharper appearance, you can opt for the Black Appearance package that adds 19-inch gloss black wheels and black badges. Moving up to the SEL, you get even more impressive features, such as simulated leather upholstery, heated front seats, and the highly innovative Ford’s SecuriCode entry keypad. In addition, several option packages are available for the SEL, including a Convenience package with a security alarm, remote start, and a wireless charging pad. Those wanting a sportier design should opt for the ST-Line as it has a black exterior trim with lower and front and rear fascias, 20-inch gloss black wheels, red accent exterior stitching, and ActiveX faux leather seats. The top two trims are the Titanium and the ST, and they come with the most high-performance features, such as a hands-free liftgate, rain-sensing windshield wipers, remote engine start, leather upholstery, and a sport suspension.
