What Capabilities does the Ford Bronco Sport Have?

A big part of what makes the Ford Bronco Sport so fun to drive is its power and athleticism! This is made possible by the selection of available engine options! The standard powertrain is a turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain delivers up to 181 horsepower, and 190 lb-ft of torque! If you opt for the sportier Badlands trim, you’ll be treated to the second available engine option, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder rated at 250 horsepower, and 277 lb-ft of torque. This engine also pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive comes standard across the board. However, there’s also an advanced 4X4 system for the upper trim levels, which features a twin-clutch rear drive unit for an extra boost in traction. The Bronco Sport also offers a terrain management system known as the G.O.A.T., which helps you navigate all sorts of rugged environments!

There are six trim levels within the lineup for the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, which leaves lots of room for variation in terms of various features. The Base trim starts you out with features like roof rails, standard LED headlights, and 17-inch wheels. It also has a flip-up rear window for the liftgate, as well as a set of two floodlights.
