Trim Levels of the 2022 Ford Maverick

The first trim level available for the Maverick is the base XL trim. It comes with standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pairs with a hybrid system that pumps out around 191 horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque that pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. If you’re not into hybrid engines, you can opt for a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers an impressive 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque and connects to a smooth sailing eight-speed automatic transmission. Both engines come standard with front-wheel-drive, but if you decide on the turbocharged four-cylinder, you can opt for all-wheel-drive. Features for the XL include 4-wheel disc brakes,  a black mesh grille with a black surround, LED headlights, and 17-inch steel wheels. There are also many tech features such as an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power windows, and a 6-speaker audio system.

Taking things up a notch is the XLT trim which adds to the already well-equipped XL with more cubby storage in the bed and up to ten tie-down spots. Outside of more storage, the XLT offers 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, an upgraded Navy Pier and Medium Slate interior, and a power-locking tailgate. You also get some excellent wiper-activated headlamps. All of these fantastic features add to the comfort and ride quality of the 2022 Ford Maverick!

Topping the range for the Maverick is the unique Lariat which adds to all the already impressive features such as 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets, premium grain Desert Brown seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. In addition, the Lariat is also very comfortable as you get several features, such as an acoustic windshield, solid ambient lighting, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature controls, and a sharp-looking 6.5-inch productivity screen. Perhaps the most impressive thing about the Lariat is that it comes with Intelligent Access with a push-button start for easy access and ignition, and you will never have to take the key fob out. More advanced features are also available for the Lariat through its First Edition, adding a black roof, power moonroof, a distinct hood, and a gloss black mirror. You can also get all-terrain tires!
